Skilled Nursing Facilities
Skilled Nursing Facilities provide 24 hours medical care in addition to custodial care. Residents may be long-term patients or temporarily for period of rehabilitation.
Assisted Living Facilities
Assisted Living Facilities are used by people who are not able to live on their own, but do not need a continuous level of nursing care as do residents of a nursing home.
Alzheimer’s Facilities
Alzheimer’s facilities are either SNFs or ALFs specializing in care for patients with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
